Guided bike tour between Berlin and Potsdam 3 hours / 20km
Experience on our guided bike tour pure contemporary history on the shoreline between Griebnitzsee station, Wannsee station and backwards. You will get to know the most beautiful outcrop of the Potsdam cultural landscape designed by Peter Joseph Lenné and Karl Friedrich Schinkel and at the same time you will be able to explore some very important cornerstones of German history.
In the House of the Wannsee Conference the Nazis organised the genocide of the European Jews, the Berlin Wall divided Germany here for 28 years, agents were exchanged on the Glienicke Bridge during the Cold War and the villas on Lake Griebnitzsee hosted Truman, Churchill and Stalin during the Potsdam Conference.
You will also find interesting stories about the Pfaueninsel, where the predecessor of the Berlin Zoo was once established and the legendary Wannsee swimming beach which was in the Golden Twenties a place of pilgrimage for the masses of people.
